Hi everyone, I picked this up last year at the flea market.  I don't usually buy fans this new but the condition was great and I like the blue transparent blades.  I have tried looking up info on it but couldn't find a thing.  Does anyone have any info on it?  Thanks

I believe those were from the very late 1960's to early 1970's. The base/motor and oscillating mechanism design is very similar to the 1960's versions of other Bertead and similar fans. I remember some neighbors had a 12-inch version that I saw in the mid-1970's, but I am pretty sure it was a few years old by then. I can't tell if yours is a 10 or 12-inch.

It seems to me these were transitional models between the all-metal (but still-inexpensive) Berstead desk fans of the 1960's to the much newer design of almost all plastic (except for the metal OSHA guard) oscillating fans of the 1970's - made by a variety of manufacturers such as Galaxy/Lasko, Panasonic, etc.
