Hello Everyone. A newbee here, However I have been collecting a few fans over the years. I recently acquired a broken Panasonic Model F-1207 from another AFCA member, hoping the repair it.  The fan seems to be in working order except one of the three blue blades is broken into three pieces.  Two questions.
1) Does anyone know what the blades are made of, Plastic, acrylic, polybicarbonate etc ?

2) Identifying the material, the best cement to re-bond the broken blade back together and in your estimation will the bond hold with all the centrifugal force when turned on?

Thanks for your time and any help is greatly appreciated in trying to make this fan usable again!

John

John got the fan from me for the cost of shipping.   Maybe you can find a broken fan (body or base broken or one not running) that has a good or decent blade.
If not I am wondering it you could reinforce the blade after gluing by using some kind of very thin but strong and non-stretching tape or sheeting like mylar and glued behind and/or in front of the mended blade parts.  That added weight should be minimal so as to not affect the balance of the blade.   And some trimming or sanding of the blade edges might help for a better balance.   Good luck John

IPS Weld-on 4. Good stuff. As long as it's a clean break, it will quite literally weld it back together. Won't look pretty but it will function just fine.
