Not my normal thing but this “muted aqua” three speed GE box fan came to live with me this afternoon for a mere $25. I suspect it’s circa is late 1950’s? It’s surprisingly heavy and certainly feels like a quality product. The paint is in remarkably nice condition with only a few blemishes. It even has the original power cord and plug. If there was white lettering on the speed control knob, it has faded. Runs very quietly but with enough resistance that I can tell the bearings in the motor need oil. There is a remnant left of the original paper tag on the bottom. Seems like it might be missing two white plastic insulators in opposing corners of the front grill to keep it from rattling, but hey, I’ll take a win!

your fan is dated to 1962-64. The 1960-61 versions had different knobs and escutcheons for the speeds, and a little bit different badge. In 1965 they went to overall beige. The color title i believe is "light blue spruce" . Very nice find and they do run great. I have an earlier version reversible on the window panel, this version on the window panel and also a rollabout... great find!
