are use green felt from Hobby stores .,, you will find a compression ring inside, take the compression ring out clean everything glue the felt to the bottom first then place the ring over everything all at the same time and then back down inside the base after this is done you can trim it and reassemble it. this is not the way it was originally done but it works perfect. every time... I use shoe glue, do not use superglue., also do not use thick felt...

List 2404, 1916



Western Electric 6100.   Seems all of the old R&M felt is the same color
