You and a can of red paint sound very dangerous, Jim.

Struts on this one attach to front of motor housing not the top

Not sure how significant that is

Long Shot ....but...Does anybody have the motor tag to this

Just need one so you can keep all your duplicates

I am not planning on restoring this cosmetically, therefore I do not want a bright shiny new  one.

It is ,however, killing me not to make this Gloss black powder coat and shiny brass

Neat fan. Chad had one for sale a while back, otherwise, I can't remember these coming up for sale.

There was some guy looking for research about fans on the Titanic a few years ago. I think he concluded the Typhoon (or Aston? ... not sure I remember) was probably aboard the ship. The discussion was in an old thread on this site.

Jeff, it was concluded the Titanic and her sisters used Verity Typhoon fans, however they were the 1908 (or similar) model: not this one. Later photos of Olympic seem to depict the Veritys “Clyde” ship fan.

I just looked into that thread and clicked the link to the guy's titanic video game site: https://www.titanichg.com/home. Looking through the gallery photos, I found two fans.

What the heck...safety cages? I like seeing the shiny brass blades. The badge on that Veritys...one of my favorites.
