Looks like it was a great layout! Some sweet fans, too. Are there any videos demonstrating the homemade winding apparatus?

The Dilg fan motor marketed it appears for most part to the hotel industry. Charles Dilg was secretary of the newly formed Eck Dynamo & Motor Co. of 07. By 09 Dilg drops out of the Eck firm and a few years down the road is marketing patented generic Eck copy cat fan motors.

Edwin Pillsbury sent the early Century oscillator patent to Dilg Mesne in 12. Dilg must of passed on it.

Was that Orbit for sale or was it sold?

Vic, that's my Veritys Orbit, I bought it from Doug Wendel at FF in Indy, and it's a sweet runner.  I may get around to giving it some lube someday soon.  Jim

Overexposed? No way! But if you a chance you might send the pics over to Pat Daggs at fancollectormag@gmail.com.

Ya know, after looking at that Veritys that Russ posted the video of, I'm sort of starting to Jones for the various shades and flavors of those orbitals.  Every time I look, there's another version of a Veritys that looks kind of lethal and dangerous, like the old Huey Cobra helicopters.  I need to learn more about Veritys.  Jim

Wow!

I also want to thank Jenn and Lien for the wonderful fan meet they put on! Nice Venue and location! Good turn out for the 1st event and as I said our hosts were wonderful! Food was top notch! I think everyone bought and sold fans!
Then Stephan Osdene showed up with his "junk"... After looking at his stuff I went over to mine and started beating it with a hammer! Mine was not worthy!☹
On another note, meeting other fanners is my reason for going! Everyone is so nice and these events are what we are about, friends and fans!! AFCA!!
Ray and I finally got to compare notes on our hair growth formula for fanners... As you can see this formula was spot on! We enjoyed combing our hair again... "Hair Club For Fanners!"

Thanks so much to the ghouls that hosted the event. Good location, food, friends, and fans. Tell Lien that Donna made the cookies from scratch.

Thanks to everyone that attended, brought food, wore costumes, and helped to clean up after the event. I was very thankful for the guys that stepped up and helped put away all the tables and chairs.

Butler - the cookies smelled delish even if I couldn't eat them! I know a few came home with us and Lien enjoyed them Sunday night.

Here is a photo album with all the pictures. I added a few of Jim Roadt's pictures and watermarked them accordingly. Hopefully Sean Campbell will post his photos this week, too.

I love how Elaine is calmly doing cross stitch whilst talking to someone that looks like death.
