This is a very nice early 16” Colonial tabfoot oscillator. It runs as it should, and looks great with original patina. Blade and cage are nice and straight, with no bends or breaks. Japan is excellent!

Headwire is good, but one tape repair to outer braid that was fraying. Cosmetic only. Other than that, the fan is 100%.

SOLD!

Thanks for looking!

That's a good deal - I spent more than that getting parts & mine still won't run.

I try to refrain from posting on the BST unless I see something egregiously wrong, but in this case I'll make an exception and post.

I have to say I am a little surprised this is still for sale. A very nice, unique, asthetically pleasing, tab base fan. I owned the same fan for 15+years until recently, and I enjoyed it everytime I saw it. It's gone to Illinois now and the new owner likes it every bit as much as I did. I no longer collect 16" fans as I know I won't have the room in the future, but these run pretty well and for the size do not overwhelm a room. I had mine on a plant stand in the same spot on a back wall, and both my wife and I loved it. I hope this gets a good home.

I would jump on it if I did not already have the same exact model!

Thanks guys. I also am surprised it hadn’t sold. There have been a lot of interested folks but no one has cut loose the PayPal yet, so it’s still available as of now.

If it had "pizza" style blades I'd be on it myself, I just like the larger style blades, Parkers too.

I have to say the same thing. That's a give away price for that fan. However fans for some reason don't seem to be brining what they did 10 years ago unless you have one of a kind. Same thing with fans on ebay but I think in that case the new sales tax deal is spoiling that show for a lot of states sales. Especially when they charge tax on the shipping too. What a rip off.

There is one for sale for 1000, I guess large fans are tough, if it was a 12'model it would be gone

I guess a repo cage & blade is worth it for this:

I actually won’t be too upset if it doesn’t sell. I love the look!  But we’re anticipating a potential move, so trying to thin the herd, so to speak.  I do appreciate the interest I’ve received on this fan!
It goes off sale on Sunday if there is no buyer.
