I was told to remove the stator and peen the pivot shaft, but not sure how to go about it. Video below:

Richard, sorry, I should have been more detailed. You’re welcome to call me on Friday or beyond, but remove the rotor and then the Stator. Then separate the head from the base by removing the 2 screws that the head tilts up and down on.  Once you get the stator out, if I’m recalling properly. You should see where the pivot shaft was peened/ swaged to jam it into the motor housing. If that’s the case, set the pivot shaft on top of a vice anvil and then use a blunt chisel to re-peen the area. You’ll have to hit it pretty hard. Keep going all around the peened area and it should tighten.
I believe I have the right fan in mind. You might be able to peek between the stator and housing to verify there’s indeed the peened area I’m mentioning.

I may have a spare housing if it’s not repairable.

FWIW.....If that shaft threads into the housing(it been a while) like I think it may, put some quality Loctite thread locker or super glue on those threads and snug it into the housing. It will stay snug as a bug after that.  :D
