Picked up this nice R&M pedestal stand with 2 plugs at the top under the platform... very good shape, needs paint...

The first R&M bases I ever ran across were at Fan Fair Sacramento. There were two there & were very reasonable. The problem was I had made a huge mistake that won't happen again & had flown to Fan Fair. I could not figure out how to get that thing on the plane (along with that beautiful Chrome Round Nose Emmy Rick Hill is "storing" for me).

I have the earlier version of this and the Emerson version. R&M was better because the cord was in the unit; Emerson in their wisdom put the outlet on the base so you had the unsightly cord hanging down.

R&M also included the second outlet with that model, for convenience to the homeowner.
