Folks, I bought a 5 speed toroidal coil for my '02 GE Pancake last year, but when I sent an email to them again trying to buy another one, the wrote back that they don't sell them and never have.
Anyone have the scoop on what's going on?
Cheers,
Bill

Bill,

I ordered and received a speed coil for an '02 cake back in late August of this year.  Got the speed coil is good time, it's a SAR 7526 according to the invoice I received.  The phone number I see on the invoice is (503) 538-3191.  I believe I talked to Tim at Sartron, and at the time he told me thay had 4 or 5 in stock.  Maybe if you call and ask for Tim it'll help.  I think the front office help may be familiar with the stuff they move in volumn, but if it's something like an item for a 117 year old fan, it may only be listed on a scrap of paper under the plexiglass on a desk down in the engineering office.  Hope this is of some help, Bill.

Jim

Tim is making me a coil for a five speed Century S2. I have spoken to him twice. You may have to wait until he gets around to it. I sent him my check in September which he still hasn't cashed. I spoke to him late October and he told me that he would get to it soon when he has time. He seems like a good guy.
