i need a stater for a Westinghouse livelyaire, the 12 inch with metal blades, the picture i attached is not my fan but the same one. it is a single winding motor with a 3 speed switch and a resistor. but it is just a single speed motor.

These fans are cheap and plentiful enough that I would say to just buy a parts fan.

I would if i could find a parts fan, i know they are not worth much but i always wanted a livelyaire. I got mine for 15$. I looked on ebay and they are all way more than i am willing to pay for a parts fan. Right now it is taken apart on my bench and i would like to find one soon so i could get it back together. If someone has an old livelyaire i will buy the whold thing if not too much. Unfortunately as easy to find as these are they want too much for most of them just because they are old

Marryann, I may have a stater but will take a couple days before I can get to it. Can you post the back side of your fan? Check your blades where they come to the center they like to crack there .

This one was not cracked anywhere on the blades, i made sure of that before i got it. The guy had another one that did run but the blades were falling apart. I figured this one would be okay too, but no. You want a picture of the back? It is taken apart but i can take pictures when i get home
