It is a great issue! I rip open the manilla envelope then fan through for the pictures and head lines! Then... I read it page for page as soon as I can! We R lucky to have this magazine!

Same here!  That’s exactly how I read it.  Mine never arrived last issue and I was having withdrawal.

I'm rather fond of the cover myself :cool:.A fascinating review of the engineering and design process GE went through to develop the decorative Quiet Fan. It was rather more complicated and detailed than I imagined. I'd would like to see more detailed pictures of some of the unique fans that were produced. Also, this article left out the oscillator version that one of our members recently found.Here's the thread of that fan found by Louis Luu. GE oscillator quiet fan
I was pleased to note that they produced a bronze and gold finished version. I'd like to see how close mine came to their example.
