Hi,
Looking for a 2" pot metal back cover for a Century Fan model 331.    I have not gotten the current cover off yet but there is no doubt what is about to happen once I start to try and turn it.

Anthony

I don't know of any that have been made.. I have one that is stuck.. it will just crumble to dust if I tried to remove it.. I wound up just leaving it alone, most of my fans are just for show anyway, you could possibly soak it for several days in some penetrating oil solution and use only a small strap wrench, while applying heat to the gear housing only, while keeping the pot metal cool, The one metal will expand while the other contracts.. good luck

Yep i wonder how many people would buy a replacement cap. I know i could use one also for a Hunter/Centry fan.

Thanks, I am going to leave it. I have the motor apart and I can actually squeeze grease thru the hole in the back of the motor as the "gear" for the oscillator is the main shaft of the motor. So I am going to pump it full of grease. And..... keep an eye out for the cover. This one will crumble for sure, I started to try and turn it but gave up as it started to crumble immediately.

I would buy one for sure.
