I'm new so bare with meI am working on a Emerson 21648 for a friend.  It appears. The best I can tell, the lead wire from coil located in switch control is missing.   Only has the 3 wires to speed contact present Any ideas what do or can it be rewound?

Thanks in advance.

Could you include some pictures? It would be helpful to see what’s going on.

I ny-passed the coil and it curre6only runs on and will turn off.  It has 3 wires from the coil to the contacts for the speed, lo-med.-hi.  I noted Diagrams I've  seen it appears to an additional wire from coil to 0ne of the 3 wires from fan motor.

It looks to me like you need a choke coil rewind. Motor rewinders can do them, but you may also check with Tom Newcity. He has rewound several for me that are perfect.

I would do a search of his name, then when you find his name in a post he wrote, click it (should be in green) and select the option to send him a pm.
