A short while I posted for help wiring up my Model 26. I was at my wit’s end. This fan has the large GE 1/6 hp motor with 4 leads coming from it, a cap, and 2 switches, one being a Levolier.  Ugh.

But thanks to Vic Valencheck, who was kind enough to pull the back off of his fan and go through the wiring, we got it figured out.  But others also either helped with parts of it or reached out offering help a little too late, so thanks also to Jason Neill, Bill Fanum, Dan Wyatt, Charles Tedrick and others!

Posted below is the correct diagram, a note, the original cap was a 3.5 mfd. as I asked others what they used, it seems any cap from 3 to 5 mfd should work if you can’t find a 3.5. Mine is running fine on a 3.0.

Also, I don’t have the Levolier wiring labeled, because it seems that the speed chokes vary a little in construction so you’ll have to ohm them out. The highest ohm readings will be low speed.

I hope the diagram helps someone in the future.
