I have two 8" MESCO I am working on & I need to make the brass angle wall mount piece. One fan has it but it is very crudely made with a bunch of hammer marks & the other is missing. The one that is there has a brass screw & brass nut which holds the piece on the fan. The screw which is low profile is a perfect match to the ones that are on the switch, which leads me to believe it is original. When on the fan the screw does not affect & has plenty of room to slide the switch handle but if I put it on the other fan the switch can not slide because of the bolt. I have tried adjusting the switch so it will slide but it still is not enough room. The only pictures I have found on the forum does not show under the base.

Can someone please provide me with the measurements & a few pictures ? Thanks

I guess you don't wanna hear this but I'll tell it to you anyway.. I took mine off because I didn't want it on there and then I put it someplace where I will always know where it is, ...thinking I don't ever want it ...I'll just send it to him ..now I can't find it.. so this is how they go missing ..whether it's 2020 or 1920 same thing.. I don't remember it being any more than something you would see on a picture frame.. so if you're thinking what idiot would take that off, you have just met one! Good luck

Thanks David you have always been a big help when we talk. I have made some that are a little bigger so If I get the exact measurements I can make any changes. If I am unable to get the exact size I will make it look like the pictures I have found. I need the brackets cause I have two MESCO swing arms & the fan will need to be secured so they are not knocked off. All I had on hand was some square brass stock & no brass angle, so you work with what you got. Here are a few pictures of the progress so far.

I am impressed,, you work with what you have this is American ingenuity.. if you want something.don't rely on others. I have what I have because it's what I wanted and I worked to get it.. there are makers and takers. I sleep very good when my head hits the pillow..

I’ve never seen that one. I have a Mesco catalog, I’ll look later.

I was of little help. The 1911 Catalog shows two fans that may be a bit helpful. I blew it up. It’s a line drawing so not much help.
