I just finished a 29668 and Jerry hooked me up with  a new cast iron collar. At first I was leery of the price tag, but I can guarantee it was worth every penny. The machining is very precise and the finish is more durable than any finish I will ever achieve. If you are ever on the fence I would encourage you to bite the bullet and get one while they're available, especially since you will be adding $70 to the value of your fan.

That is a gorgeous fan, Nathan! :dude:
A little video of Mr. Bravi's collar on my 73648. The finish was perfect to match the advanced formula rustoleum paint I used that looks similar to Japan.

Sorry about the dust. LOL

Very nice job on that restoration.  16" 6 winger Emerson is a lot of fan to restore.

Agree with you on the collars.

I'm surprised you were leery of the $70 price tag. I am amazed he can make them for that price! I am in the process of reproducing some parts right now and I can tell you, it is a challenge. I have a lever oscillator with Jerry's parts on it, he's an ace.
