It is with much regret that we will have to postpone the Aiken Carolina Regional Fan Meet next month.    I don’t see it getting better in the next few weeks.   All restaurants are closed as far as dining in.  Only drive throughs are open, and that could change as well.   Not very inviting for a group gathering.   Let’s all pray that this thing passes with as little loss of life and bad health as possible.  We will consider trying to do something in the fall, likely late September or sometime in October.   Let’s try to get through this as best we can and I wish everyone the best.  Please pray for our nation and those around the world that are being affected by this corona virus.  Darryl & Phyllis

I think it’s a good decision and the right decision.  Hoping to be able to make it to Aiken at some point for the event. Am originally from SC.

I think it was a wise decision. I was hoping to attend this year, but Fall should be good too.
Believe it or not, we’re trying to close on a house through all this mess that is Covid. Met with the house inspector yesterday and we had to keep our 6’ social distancing.  It was like a strange dance, trying to stay out of each other’s way.  But at least the beer stores have been deemed “life sustaining “ stores and they’ve been allowed to stay open.

Courts are closed, realty offices are closed, title companies are closed, not sure we’ll be able to pull this off.

I know that wasn't an easy decision, but this makes it more likely I can attend for the first time. The Aiken meet always seems to fall on the day (or weekend) of my middle child's birthday.
