I have a Sears window fan model number 480.90271. I am looking for some help with the maintenance of this fan. The problem I am having is that when I turn the fan on it will work fine for about 10 minutes and then start to slow down and then eventually stop (and the motor then just hums). I feel that it needs lubrication but could be wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

If it has a capacitor, it may be going bad.
