For Sale....A matched pair of custom GE 1905 GE 12 inch trunnion mount Fans. These fans were built in 2012. The pretty and polished fan is finished in DuPont Chroma Systems basecoat/clearcoat in yellow and white with intermediate pearl coat. The blade and cage for both fans were fabricated by Ted Kaczor. The rest of the brass on both fans was custom fabricated in my shop. Both blades are offset and the struts are slotted.
The other fan was restored to look old but well kept. The shiney fan was supposed to be a reproduction of the old original condition GE. The "original" fan is finished in white and yellow single stage enamel and distressed to appear old and used. All of the brass on the fan is aged. The wiring on the "old" fan is used and crusty and period correct to the fan. The deteriorated "rubber" feet on the old fan is actually Bondo formed to look like that.

The story behind this pair of fans can be found by searching "GE research pays a dividend".  All of the paperwork behind the story is included with the sale of these fans. This is a matched set and will not be separated. Price is $3300.

They should have a special Display in the Museum , with all the documentation depicting the history / backstory of these two fans. If not at some point they will be split up , sold and the saga will be forgotten , or namesake should buy them.
