I was awakened this morning by a tribe of short people(aged 8-11) outside my apartment making a horrific noise at 5:30. What an ungodly hour, on a Saturday, no less. Missing a chunk of my allotted sleep time, I arose groggy and not motivated to work as usual. So I thought I'd try to perfect my phone camera technique. This is what I've managed so far. Still a ways  to go in having really good video, but give it time, and I'll get better.

I have a widely eclectic collection of fans reflecting my diverse interest in them. There should be something for everyone as a result. This is not all of them. I missed a few. But they're representative of my collection.

Cheers,
Bill

Thanks for sharing Bill. Since we can’t go to Fan Fair it’s nice to get a little fan fix to hold us over until the Museum Meet.

Bill ... You have an incredible and diverse collection ... All in great shape ... Some rare not common examples ... And then you have the skills, passion and imagination to create some one-of-a-kinds ... Your videos including music are excellent ... Keep sharing ... Always enjoy your posts ...

I know you have been building and collecting fans since we came and visited with you several years ago.

You have done a wonderful job gaining the experience and skills to expand your collection.  If you are still

living in the same location, I can only wonder if you still have a place big enough to sleep!!  :D  :D
Take care.  Happy Fanning!

To answer some questions; The GE Whiz is a custom color. It's now one of my least favorite fans and I may just re-do it in original black enamel eventually.
And John, I don't live in the same place. The place I have now is much smaller and much more cramped.
However, there may be some relief in the near future. Maui is expected to lose as many as 30 thousand residents(almost 1/4 of the population) before the end of the year. There will likely be a glut of cheaper rentals available where I can stretch out a little better.
With over 30% unemployment, we're having a local depression. I've lived through two of these here before this and I know how to get though to the other side.

There are literally no fans here to be found in the wild.
I did find a broken 8 inch R&M at a garage sale once....
I definitely depend on the AFCA community to stay involved in this endeavor. I'd be nowhere without you guys.
Cheers,
Bill
PS
Next time I'll hold my phone sideways to take videos.......duh....not portrait mode. My bad.
B.
