I am certain I'm going to feel upidstay when I get an answer.  I took blades off fan to polish and now that their shiny they will not produce wind! A little air blows out the back but nothing out the front.  My thought was set screw was not in notch on axle, but I've done it over and over with no change.  Had oscillator disconnected but hooked that back up and same thing.  Who gets to be first to make me feel like an idiot?!  Thanks for your help.

I was almost afraid to touch this one.  Kelly, I am sure that in a very short while, you will see what happened.  If the blades are blowing air out the back and you would prefer air to be coming out the front, how about turning the blade around.  That is the only thing that I can see that would be causing your dilemma.  Good luck.

Or maybe two of the wires to the speed coil are reversed

3854 - - no way to put that blade on backwards - - A CW blade, I just checked mine - must be a wiring issue

Counter clockwise, both my RM's do (3804 and 2417B).  Thanks for the great suggestions.
