Is anyone bringing a nice tab foot Peerless/Colonial to the museum meet? I don’t really care if it oscillates or is AC or DC. Let me know!

Ya'll seen this beastie - - front Oscillator, I have the switch but it needs to be glued - cracked in halfHad the missing bronze gear fabbed - this is a BEAST I tell you!! Early version had no badge, Need to bring & test - I do have 400 in it so can't budge off that, was bringing for show & tell.

This is how I bought it years a ago!!, stripped the blue paint to original JapanHad to get a blade, gears, and a switch - no easy task.
This is a centrifugal start model. 2 lead head wire

The new gear -and 8 screws to keep the grease from jumping out!! Totally over built!!

 Overbuilt yes , but when everything is together where it should be with reasonably good bearings , those fans run incredibly smooth :cool: with oscillation or not , in contrast to Henry's Model "T" which was a contemporary of this fan
