I thought the Whirlaire was a small 8" table model from the 1920s? Did Westinghouse reuse the name on a later model of fan?

Levi I think you are talking about the whIrlwind Westinghouse made them too👍I saw the big exhaust fan on there too

THE ONE IN THE PHOTO ABOVE  IS A 1950S WHIRLAIRE , THEY CAME IN 16/17 AND 20" RIGHT? SAME DESIGN AS A MOBILAIRE, THE THE SIDE MOUNTING FOR TILTING IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT THAN A MOBILAIRE, PLUS A 20" IS HUGE!!!...

No, that's a MobileAire, which is similar but not the same thing.
