This was in my mail box. I just about fell over backwards. This is why I do fan motor research and have post thousands of posts shared on this forum without one complaint . There are a number of members that have selflessly helped me a number of times. I was convinced getting one of these guards would require buying an entire fan to get it. You and I know who you are!  :D

The guard will complete a very mechanically sound example of an AB/Jandus wire mount with the odd centrifugal start motor. Thanks to the kindness of Mike Rathberger for loaning an original strut, and Kim Frank devoting time despite all his responsibilities with the upcoming museum meet, I have nice reproduction struts and acorns coming.  I am one happy camper.

BTW...I know the motor is mounted in the wire mount backwards.  :clap: :D
