Tom, Eddie, Christy, and I would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to all who attended the 3rd Annual Meet @ the Museum. It's been a weird and difficult year for all of us and  we weren't sure we would be able to put on the meet this year. After much discussion it was decided to go ahead with the meet, requiring the wearing of masks inside the Museum and shop, and limiting access to the building facilities to handicap only. We pitched a big tent, had bathroom facilities brought in and made available to all attendees hand sanitizer, masks, gloves, and disinfectant spray. With everyone's generosity, through the purchase of shirts, posters, fans, and monetary donations, after all expenses are paid, we raised over $600 for the Museum. Several fans were loaned to the Museum, of which I will do a later post about them.
I didn't get much time to take pictures of everything going on over the course of three days, but I took a stroll thru the parking area one afternoon and was in awe of just how far a lot of the attendees traveled to come to our event. Below are some pictures of the states represented, along with Eddie firing up the grill and some of the late Saturday morning activity.
Chad Baker was one of the first to arrive, coming by the museum on Tuesday afternoon to drop off some fans before heading to northern Indiana to pick up another fan. Chris Smith came in Wednesday morning and was instrumental in helping us with making sure the meet went smoothly over the course of the three days. Ron Jeter came in on Wednesday to help too. BTW his plug display was incredible to see. Rick Huckabee and Jim Henderson also arrived to help out. I could go on for hours about all the fun I had and hopefully some of you will post here about all that was going on over the three days of the Meet. Again, All of us here at Fanimation extend a huge thanks to everyone and we look forward to next year and another Meet @ the Museum.   Kim

Hi Kim!

Thnx for all your hard work! It took a lot of effort by all those you mentioned to put this wonderful fan nerds event on! Even if i don't sell or buy a single fan, the people I meet are so nice and generous with their time and stories talikng about fans! When a fan is running, WE R SOO COOL!

A few people better renew their vehicle registrations! I saw at least 3 expired plates and a couple more expiring this month.

Glad the meet was a success among very few fan events this year! Even though I wasn't there, hats off to all who helped make it a success. I hope everyone returned home safely!

Again, a huge thanks to Tom. This event was wonderful, but also for being gracious enough to provide a beautiful facility to house the Museum.  That’s a 365 day job that we just take for granted.  👍👍👍

The event was awesome. We were glad to see a lot of familiar faces and meet some new people. With not being able to do a Fan Fair this year, we were glad to get to do the Museum Meet. A big thank you to everyone who came out and got to enjoy the weather and fans. Also a big thank you goes out to Tom Frampton and my dad, Kim Frank. The hard work these two have put into, not only the Museum Meet, but the museum itself has been monumental. The work, and the projects these two have come up with over the past 4 1/2 years has been amazing, and I feel so lucky to just be involved. Thank you, Tom and dad, for all your hard work.

We have two of the worlds  most powerful VP’s in Indiana.  They called in a sanitizing air strike before the meet. 😉  No chance of anyone getting sick.

This was such a well needed event for me personally, and I’m sure many others as well. I am so appreciative of all the hard work and generosity that goes into it. I was pretty busy working on my own stuff and didn’t have as much time as I would have liked to enjoy everyone’s company, but I met some new people and had a great time. I’m a little disappointed that nobody posted a video of Eddie literally setting the grill on fire, and then having the police secure the scene before moving in only to learn the police had already put the fire out with ease. 😂. Kim Frank was one of the first people I met in the fan club years ago at a Randy Halbert meet is Sarasota. I have learned so much from him and always enjoy his company,  generosity, and sense of humor. I also met Carlton Ward at that same meet and enjoy his company, generosity, and amazing collection of a Variety of things. Then I met Eddie Frank and that brought the shenanigans to a whole new level. Ron Jeter, Rick Huckabee, Steve Butler, Scott Jeffrey, Doc Sanders, Doc Dunaway, Mike Rathberger, Chad Baker, The Wisconsin boys, always a pleasure to see all of you. A big thanks to Bill Fanum for getting my Police light going. So many great people in this association that I am thankful for, a fan meet with these kind of great people in these chaotic times is therapeutic in my opinion. Thank you to the Fanimation Family for allowing this to happen and all your generosity. I can’t wait till the next one.

Helen and I had a great time, tried to meet as many people as I could, was not successful.  But very relaxed atmosphere was really needed.  Fun to watch the master Bill Fanum work his magic on various fans and the startup of the Crocker Wheeler.  As always, learned a few things.  The weather was perfect and the museum is an amazing sight.  Thanks also to the folks at Fanimation for their support!
