I made several stator removal tools for the common Westinghouse stamped steel fans. 4-3/4” stator outside diameter. Even fits Rotaire ceiling fans.
Based of Tony Clayton’s design, the tool is a steel cylinder that is machined to mate with the motor case. By banging the tool and motor on a hard surface, the stator coil works its way out of the motor housing.

I made three and sold one. I’m keeping one and selling my last one at cost: $145 shipped.

Poor mans stator remover. Made one up about 20 yrs. ago honing out  a 16" Westy casing. Have pulled no less than 30 stators fast and without damage. floor flange short 3/4 in. pipe and nipple. stator falls into receiving casing.
