I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO PUT ONE ON TOP OF A STEAM RADIATOR BUT THEY ARE SO EXPENSIVE I DONT WANT TO SPEND IF IT WONT HELP OR WORK RIGHT

I think it will take some extreme heat to work, a woodstove gets super hot on the top
