Nice Steven! I'm still waiting on finding a badge for my little Type H 1925 Cub. If I can find a badge, I'd probably buy a brass blade repro for it. Made a cage cap from an electrical box plug. Haha ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited on Tue Nov 17th, 2020 10:05 pm by Alex Rushing |

Is that base cast brass? I thought I remembered having seen a Polar Cub with a brass base before.

I am missing one of the 3 screws that secures the blade if anybody is holding - I think that base was painted --Alex?

Think there were complaints about a baby sticking it's "paw" in a running fan??

I came so close to buying this one off eBay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Polar-Cub-Type-D-Electric-Desk-Fan-2-Speeds-6-Inch-Blades It was buy it now for $70 including shipping. I don't know what they're worth, but I'd guess maybe $100? ![]() ![]() ![]()

Not perfect, but I dig it with the blades after painting them and cutting the plug to act as a temporary badge. Haha
