Yes, its the same company, they made toasters, waffle irons, toaster ovens, stoves, refrigerators, fans, heaters, and more. I used to have an old "Lady Dover" Waffle Iron that was made by Knapp-Monarch in the 1940s. see Picture Below. ![]() |

Because by the mid 1950s they started using rubber cord sets on toasters. I have a 1951 Sunbeam T-20A toaster that had it's original black and red checkered cloth cord set on it. |

I saw a Knapp Monarch-labeled appliance (a percolator if I remember correctly) at the Vermont Country Store a couple years ago, so someone is still using the name and a logo similar to the above. They also had a lot of old fans as decor around the place. |
