I have two Emerson Electric Ceiling Fans I am trying to identify possible age of. See photos attached of the two tags I took pictures of. I have both fans, blades (14 degrees) but am missing the screws that attach the fan blades to the motor. These somehow got lost when they were removed from the house I grew up in. Would love to know what screw would fit or if anyone had any I could get. Both fans still work great. What if anything would they be worth? Thanks for your help.

These were produced from 1918 to 1932 or so. I believe the round tag is on the earlier side, so lets say 1920's. Those are a specific thread, of which I cannot recall the pitch but it's not a standard stock at most hardware stores. I hope another member can chime in here in regard to the screws.

Thank you. These were given to my dad and came out of the AZIZ Dept store back home in Brownsville, Texas. Any idea on a possible value. I will post complete picture of fan soon

From the pics they look to have been sprayed black. I'd say $50-100 each. Because of the almost 15 year production run an the longevity, here are just LOTS of these fans in existence. I probably have 40 of them. Honestly the blades are the most valuable part of the fan, barring the switch if it is intact. However, they are excellent pieces of American engineering and craftsmanship. You won't find a better fan made today most certainly. They're just a good, functional appliance that, with some basic care and maintenance, will outlast you and your children.

Thank you for your insights. What color if not black would they have originally been. Since these were for a retail store and hung with very long poles over the sales floor they might have painted them for the look in the store.

They probably were a metallic brown. "Metalescent Mahogany" was the color Emerson touted. The real higher end ones were in a metal finish, but I doubt they would have painted that.
