Does anyone have a picture of the bearing shaft and rotor retaining bolt/nut.
I'm thinking that on the older fans th e shat had internal threads to accept a bolt. I know that the cone base fans had external threads and a nut. My PI 241 is missing these pieces and I need to know what I'm looking for.  Thanks for any help!

I’m not in a position to open mine up, but if I recall it’s a brass screw/plug with slot. It sorta resembles a larger version of the brass plug found on the rear of older stationary Emersons.
And yes the bearing tube has internal threads.

I think he’s looking for a pic of the front with the blade and front motor end bell removed.

Not sure about the PI-241 but this shaft is from a 14644 Emerson.  The brass "nut" on the left you will see on the rear motor plate of your fan and the front 'nut" holds the front part of the motor bearing in place I think.   Double check to see if I am right.
