USPS, UPS and FEDEX are all equally unreliable. I had fans shipped by FEDEX from Arizona. The heavier box with three stumps (weighing 68 pounds) arrived in three days. The other box, weighing 9 pounds took ten days and went from AZ to CA to Chicago, to Missouri, to OHIO finally to MASS. I've had the best luck with UPS lately. I sent a fan to Schenectady on Monday and it got there yesterday no problem. Last edited on Wed Jan 13th, 2021 11:12 pm by David Kilnapp |

I had a nice 1902 GE Pancake get stuck in the throes of USPS for over two weeks during the summer. It came from Iowa. I don't understand how they can take two weeks to ship a fan and quote me at five days.

I shipped a fan from Indiana to Hawaii USPS priority mail. I dropped it off on a Thursday at noon and it arrived Saturday late afternoon. It was two days early! The things I’ve received from the post office have all been ok and on time. Maybe I’ve just been lucky. 🤷♂️

But if going south or west and bypassing Chicago I've had no issues.

I just ordered a set of brush/spring assemblies. Shipped on Wednesday, delivered Friday. Ordered a birthday gift for my wife which shipped late November, arrived earlier this week. Both USPS. Both shipped from California. Guess which one ended up in Chicago where it sat for weeks on end?I shipped a fan from Indiana to Hawaii USPS priority mail. I'm in iowa and when things come from the west they occasionally miss Des Moines or Ceder rapids and end up in chicago. No telling how long that will add to getting here.

Shipping is backed up due to everyone ordering things on line. Where I work we receive truck loads of items from every shipped you could imagine. Overnight shipping can take up to 10 days. They are all backed due to the massive load from Christmas shoppers buying on line.
