![]() ![]() Anyone have any idea what kind of switch this is. Someone messed with it so it won’t stay closed. Attached Image (viewed 123 times):

If it works when you clamp it together, I would try seal/epoxy or fabricate the switch back together. If that is not possible, Post a picture of the fan and model number looking for a Vornado reversing switch in the BST forum.. Good Luck!

IT LOOKS LIKE WHAT YOU HAVE A IS A REBADGED CHELSEA WINDOW FAN WITH A VORNADO LABEL ON IT AND IF IT HAS THE CHELSEA HOOVER MOTOR THEY WILL HAVE DIFFERENT WIRING THAN A STANDARD REVERSIBLE SWITCH. I BET YOURS HAS SIDE TERMINALS ON IT INSTEAD OF ALL TERMINALS ON THE REAR CAP OF THE SWITCH? YES?

Do you have any pictures of this fan? Can't say I've seen this model before. Here's a photo of mine. Model 57VW1. Attached Image (viewed 27 times): Last edited on Fri Feb 19th, 2021 02:44 pm by Rob Duffy |
