Seems the ad has been pulled. I have a beautiful example of this exact 1902 pancake and even I don't value it that high.

Pancakes are nice and desirable fans but at $1500, it should be tip top. I remember Kim sold a nice 1899 for less than that and I believe it was ready to go.

There have been a bunch of crappy cakes on eBay for lots of money recently. 
Cakes are great, but for >$1,000, it should be perfect.
