Are you sure about the form letter? AQ1 shows as 1934, first year of the quiet blade run and not brass.

Thank you Dave. I did some research and it seems like its suppose to have an aluminum blade but was wondering if a brass blade would work?

I would think so but the key would be the inside diameter as it relates to the shaft. Would help if you measured the diameter of the shaft to give folks an idea as to what would fit. Brass is heavier but I don’t think it’d be a problem.

I have a GE steel blade (already stripped to bare metal) whose inside diameter is 5/16". You can have that for free if you want it.
