Sorry but for some reason, my test was not included in the post.
I was wondering if any of the fan experts out there could tell me few things about my Class F tripod switch:

a) In the broken section, I cannot see any wiring connecting the brass connector to the switch. I assume the connection is happing perpendicularly into the motor casing.

b) Do I have to remove the back cover of the motor in order to remove the switch?

Yes,


It mounts through the rear cover
