wow this thread had a long "rest" in between posts... this fan here I have in the box as a rebadged sears (promotional) window fan. Does it have to be hand started in both intake and exhaust positions? or just one? I don't think brown was the original coloer, they had a tan, ivory and yellow color as common, but I could be wrong. earlier versions in the 60s also had aqua, but no pushbuttons. It is a good fan medium in power, but solid and better than plastic except for the GEs
