I need to thin the herd, so getting fans ready to bring to Mardi Gras. Bringing a number of ceiling fans, Emerson long nose with light fitter & three speed original switch with blades, Emerson round nose with light fitter & one speed with bldes irons, 1920s GE, no switch but with blades, & a Hunter Adapt-air with light fitter & irons. In desk fans, I am bringing an unrestored 24666, couple of small Westys, & a GE project fan. What are y'all bringing who are coming next week? I look forward to seeing y'all next week at Mardi Gras!

Stan its hard to believe its only a year ago that I got that Emerson 12in. fan from you and I will always remember that 60 dollar fan you sold me. I think I have worked on about twenty fans since then. I have learned a great deal since then and hope to learn a lot more. Looking forward to seeing the Texas guys in N.I. Stan my mom just turned 75 years old and she once told me she has liked all the people she has meet from TX. GREAT STATE !!! I hope us southerners never change.

Oh Stan is that 24666 a six blade Emerson because that is what I want to get next for me and maybe I can negotiate a price now.

Not that one Tim, I still haven't got back to it yet , this is one we wound up 6-pole like a 71666. I need to go back thru the poly yet& see if I can find any mismatch connections as you suggested. I think next time I will wind up double coils and omit at least one potential connection error that may have led me to this situation that I have here.

Do you wind it identical to a 71666 when you make those 24 slot stators to six poles? Same gauge and number of turns?

I have a dead 29646 stator (I think) and a dead 73648 stator that I killed (The blade hub added set screw story) that are yours for the help on the 77 (oh, the 73 has a hum problem as well ...).

I have a few neat little Fanimation fans left over from a couple of case buys at St Louis & after that I used as door prizes at colleges where I presented my collection of the OLD stuff. The fans are "Urbanjet" fans. You can google and see them or pull up Fanimation if you want more info. I paid $88.00 ea and they sell at the lowest price I've seen of about 150 bucks. I have a few Red, 1 Silver & 1 Blue, all in case never opened. These are great where youngsters are milling around. Let me know if you want me to bring you one. Oh, your price at Will's "$88.00! Well, you can see a poor pic of the Urbanjet and the 3rd pic shows on the bottom shelf (without a lot of effort on the pic) a Black "Silver Swan Original & a Peacock original"! Both never used, NIB and they have been on that shelf since they were introduced to the market back whenever. "ONLY" delivered to Will's if interested, so PM me and we'll git-r-dun!

The top shelf holds 16", 2nd shelf ideal for 8" and 3rd & 4th perfect for 12's. When I thought my fan days had ended I goofed up and let 10 of these bubbas get away from me, but maybe that's good where I won't try to fill'em up again..Peacock and Black Swan Pic #3 ![]()
