If you’re going to put a fan up for sale ...First tell me what the fan is ....and then the price .. then I will look at it if interested.......I’m not interested in reading slowly down through everything only to find that I will now need to P.M. for a price......  Sorry for the rant, but it’s becoming annoying! I hope others will put their two cents in and agree with me that something needs to be done.. Again sorry..

Everyone:   Buy-Sell-Trade Forum Rules are pretty clear:

A price must be posted.   If a post does not adhere to the rules maybe a note to a moderator would help.

Really just two rules for Buy-Sell. No “offer” type ads, and all fans must be priced.

Best way to sell a fan in my opinion is to post it with good pictures, and maybe a video.   Tell the potential buyer about the fan, original paint, or repainted, running condition, blade balance, and any other condition issues and any reproduction parts also what motor work has or has not been done.  No surprises.  Offer a return policy and boast about how well you pack and ship fans and insure the shipment.   Spend a little time talking about your fan but don't over do it.  All this is true here and on eBay.   Nothing more frustrating on eBay than seeing a picture of a fan and no description about the fan for sale.   And of course the price if selling here.

Personally it'd be nice to open the site and not read a complaint. Nice to see you in Indy David, honestly that's the best way to bst. You get a chance to mull it over and there's  no sense in sending a fan bouncing around with cranky delivery driver...

I have not seen that to much? Mostly non members. I hardly ever buy a fan that has to be shipped.
