 1948 - 1948 seems to be another style transitional year for Vornado production, phasing out the Vornadofan script cage fans for the concentric circled Lucite golden jewel-style V cage badged fan designs:











This rarely seen example of a Vornado pedestal has the type 1 three legged pedestal base of the first design with the yoke mounted fan of the type two design:
