|My observations with the kidney are the laminations of the stator are thinner, maybe a quarter inch or so, that those of the 2nd and 3rd version BMY . Same goes for the rotor. Switch base is the same as a BMY except some Kidney bases have a threaded hole in the bottom side center...to hold the steel cover on. I have never seen a checkered pattern on any BMY lever tip, at least as original. Ring and Loop handle kidney switches appear identical. Nice score on a Hunter Kidney, now you'll need a FWEW kidney to keep it company.
