6 blade pancake.  Rate Topic

Correct me if I'm wrong but the 1905 cake never came with 6 blades, right? I sent a message to the guy selling his and let him know that the blade was wrong. His reply? "So." Alrighty then.

You are correct from what I know but a couple of guys at least have made up custom pancakes in many configurations.    Can you tell us where you saw the pancake so we can see it?

:down:It is on Ebay . It is also wrong style blade to boot. Cage is wrong also. There are 2 bidders and 1 has 1 buy on Ebay.


 04 with 98 blade.

I pointed out that the cage and blade were wrong to the seller and he responded (somewhat curtly) that he owns an antique store in which he had sold many fans and he had observed that people bought what they liked as it appeared regardless of whether the parts were correct for the fan. I guess he was right given the price that the fan has reached.

Blade probably came from a residential SMY or AUU. 12 inch cakes have a 5/16ths" rotor shaft. To make the cake correct will take at least $500-600 if the buyer doesn't have the parts laying around.
