Here is the first mocked up table/stem for the Porter Geissler Rotator.  The white clay will be trimmed and prime.  These will be where the terminals can be hooked up to power the motor and Geissler rotator.

These will also be mocked up.  Can be used on the Porter/Ajax/Hustler/Rex/Voltamp...motors.

The blade hubs have already been casted. 3 and 6 blade versions. Will fit most small toy motors.

Just in case there are those who have not seen a geissler rotator...I seriously doubt it.  I am very excited about the pedestal!  A poor man's Zeigler rotator.

Took the original image...trapezoid squaring and mirroring.  This gives the rough shape/template to mock up the table.

Table ready for casting.  Really heavy base.  Perfect for geissler rotator.  Bottom base has terminal mounting for motor and geissler tube.

I dropped the pedestal/table off yesterday.  Base price for material cost is $100...it is heavy!  I went ahead and decided to cast only 10 of these.  There are some motors that I have that needs to be on a pedestal to highlight their unique design.

Then there are motors I have that need to be mounted on wooden base only...I will make the feet for them.

And there are other motors that would look best on a table.

All these will be fun to cast but the pedestal has always been a long dream of mine...turning a porter motor into a a geissler rotator.

I will be casting some lions feet/paw and other decorative feet for since not all motors will be mounted on the metal table. The feet will be ideal for mounting on wood. Will post some pictures of some other stuff I will be casting soon.

Here are some of the feet stand for wooden table I will be working on.  The large one in the back is about the size of a baseball...large.  I had to remove the tips of the claws to release the glass ball.  This will be mocked back up in resin and a hole will be drilled to mount screws to the wood base.  I need one this size for a Union & Signal semaphore motor I plan to turn into a fan.

Motor is at least 40+ pounds.  Need a big feet to mount to wooden base along with fan blade for clearance.
