Hi George,  I think I got about 4 of those fans.
They are reproduction art by Sarsaparilla Deco Designs in New York.
They reproduced Frankart from the 1930's.
These used to be sold in the back of airplane magazines in the 1970's 80's etc.
This one is the most common.  They were also painted gloss black.
More for an executive gift...  I put a Caframo 2 wing blade on mine.  More air flow and sound great!!
The hard one to find is the P41??  low wing airplane.  I got one.
I always wanted to put a small neon flicker bulb inside the body so it would look
like flames coming from the engine.
You used to could buy them on eBay for about $40.
Not anymore!!

Happy Fanning!

Hi John!

Thnx for that info! I finally found a little info on these things... Solid aluminum too! I have a few of those wooden blades I got from a modelers box used for model airplanes! 1 small wooden blade would look saaweeeet! Hmmmm... now the small flashing LED! U R on to something there!
Would you put blade on backwards to make the air flow properly? Hmmm...
And I found out this one was a 1992 model... That was hard to read but I got it!
