Just purchased a Welch Hassock fan. The motor needs a good cleaning. The inside of the Stator is filthy and needs a good degreasing. I was gonna crack it open it open, but my luck runs on the bad side. I was wondering if anyone had any advice? Thanks, Q |

Carefully blow it out with compressed air then you can use CRC Lectra Clean (Home Depot) to remove the grease. It won’t hurt the windings like other solvents can. |

Be sure to do it outdoors, the smell of that stuff is pretty strong. |
