Looking for the coil or a place that can repair it. I don’t think its wired right in the picture might be why it looks so toasty

It isn't wired correctly, definitely need a rewind. The motor tap should come off one side of the switch shared with the choke output. You can run it without the choke as the motor is shaded pole. I don’t have a choke, but I can help you wire it, I’m over on Lake Houston.

Pic of wiring.  (Stan's the Man).I also put fish paper between coil and plates.Just thought I would throw  that in.wiring exposed next pic.

Stan I’m in spring about 15 miles to the west i think we  have exchanged messages before. 3 or 4 years ago you hosted one of those fan get to together’s. I wanted to go but it seems like there was a storm in the gulf. I would love to meet and learn some fan stuff from you. Message me at your convenience

:hammer:So I took the coil lose to show wires some better.Hot from main cord center of switch out of the right side to motor.Common from main (white) direct to motor.Green is just an earth ground.I added a 3  prong .
